License fun, switching to GPL v3
At work we have been working through some interesting reactions to our change from the standard EPL (Eclipse Public License) over to our APL (Aptana Public License). The reaction was mixed to say the least. Well, we are now about to announce a change to a dual license which should satisfy everyone. We are going to go with the GPL v3 in conjunction with our APL. We are now officially Open Source. This will hopefully satisfy everyone. There are many companies that do a dual license (MySQL for one). This will allow us to protect our code and still allow us to be considered open source. This is a great thing and a great move for our company.
