Carolyn and I today went into our new house and started to do the work that needs to be done. We are painting the bathroom, sealed some cracks and started to paint some other walls. I am really tired and need a break. Tomorrow we are going to go do it again and hopefully finish most of the work. Well got to go back..

Today Carolyn and I go for our first ultra-sound for the baby.. We are both very nervous and excited.. Also we get our keys to the new house today and we can start to do the work we need to to move into the house.. I will give more information about both later.. got to run..

Alex King and Adam Tow have release a very cool thing for the iPod. Read it to Me allows you download RSS feeds and create MP3 files to play on your iPod using the Apples Text-to-Speech ablilty. This is so cool, being able to listen to your news feeds on your way to work. I really like the work that Alex is doing, he has some really cool apps that he has built and worked on. I am hoping that once I am in my house I can complete the apps that I am working on and release them. With the new house thing for the past month, my project has fallen behind.

I am very excited that Director Tim Burton ( The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Batman and Ed Wood) is in talks to bring “Charlie and Chocolate Factory” to the big screen. This most likely will not be a remake, but more of story in his style. The first version of this movie was “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) with Gene Wilder. It was turned into a musical of sorts, but that was not the intention of the writter of the story (Roald Dahl). The best part of this is that it will problably be a dark tale, see on how the character of Willy Wonka thinks that people are just evil and hates children in general (If you don’t see that then read the book again). So I think he will do a great job and I can’t wait” B

I am a diehard Mozilla user. I do a majority of my web reading on it. I also really love Konqueror for my linux boxes also. Konqueror is a just a blazing fast browser. I use it alot at home for just quick reading. So I was looking for a new browser to try out side the typical IE, Netscape, Mozilla or Opera for my Windows XP laptop. I stumbled across a IE upgrade called Avant Browser. So far I am pretty impressed with it’s speed. I am using version Avant Browser 8.0 Beta 1 Build 637, Released: 05.22.2003. Some of the features it is has are things that are already available in some browsers like Mozilla, but are pretty cool none the less. “Auto Pop-up Stopper”, built in Google search, multi-tabbed / multi-window viewing and great bookmark and short cut management. I am still testing it and have found a couple of issues, but they are minor. The start up time is amazing and the recovery of a past session is great. There are some other cool clean up features after a session has closed. I am still testing it, but I will give an update later. Plus, it is only a $10 donation to use it, well worth the money.
