I have been following the developments in the SCO vs. Everyone (I mean the open source community as a whole) cases. First the whole idea that Microsoft is behind this is a joke. Yes, Microsoft did invest in Caledra before it was SCO and they also washed their hands of it back in 2000. Also Microsoft only held 12.3% of the companies stock, which it sold. Secondly, I think it is interesting that Caledra offered it’s version of Linux with the direct understanding of the GPL.

They signed it. They distributed their Linux under the GPL. I am not too sure how they are going to get around this, but I am sure that they will some how. Well, I will comment more on this later..
