I was sitting at working today and I think I need a break. On Monday until Tuesday I was at work for 38 hours. I mean I haven’t done that for a long time. There is a project at work that needed to be done and we had a limited production window to do it in. Now that it is mostly over, I can now work on getting into the new house. We had it tented earlier this week and now it is ready for us to move into. We have to finish painting the bedroom and that is all. I am going to spend this weekend painting and then packing. Not very fun, but next weekend I will be in my new house. I am very excited to be moving in. We placed the bid on the house on April 24th and now almost 2 months later we are moving in. It is really strange to think that I own a house, seeing on how we haven’t moved in yet. I am also spending time on my projects when I can. Once I am in the house and we are finished setting it up, I can devote my time to completing and releasing two new products. One is a beta and one is an alpha concept model. I hope that I can turn the later into a full blown product with a company someday. It is a great idea.. More on that later..

I upgraded my Lifebook to SuSe 8.2 this weekend to give it a try. So far I am really impressed by the performance aspects of the OS. I think that KDE 3.1 is great desktop. I have loved watching linux develope over the years and it keeps getting better and better. There are still a couple of tweeks that I need to work on to get everything working (still the same old battery monitor not working). Everything else is still great. The Wireless networking was super easy. I will give a better review when I have a time. I am still working on my other project right now.

I spent most of the weekend so far working on my new house. We completed the living room and most of the bathroom. I will have a better entry tonight. I will also be updating my entry for the Linux and the Laptop. I have made some vast improvement on the Linux side especially with performance. I have to finish the bedroom today, so I gotta go..

I have been extremely busy between many of my project lately and trying to find time to do them all.
#1 – Working on the house. Getting the new house ready to move into it on the 21st of June. Been painting, working on the fence and getting new outlets for my office and living room.
#2 – A very large roll out at work. The project from hell. Something that the people before me never wanted to do.
#3 – A Pocket PC version of “BART Trip Planner”. A port of the Palm OS version.
#4 – My new software which I am building, I can’t release any information about it until I am comfortable with releasing the beta. I have had to push it off until I get into my new house.
That is about it. I am also in the process of looking for a hosting company for my site.
