The weekend I took one for the team, my family that is. I got rid of my beloved Miata. I traded it in for a VW Jetta Wagon. The Jetta is a VR6 and is amazing. I love the car, I just really love German engineering. It has all the goodies, of course it is a VW so it only came with a cassette deck. Well, I had to go and get an indash MP3 player by Sony. That is a really cool deck, I think it is much better than a 6 disc changer. I also lost my HP Jornada on a train ride from Oakland to Pleasanton. So I also bought a Sony Clie SJ33. It is a great PDA, the speed is amazing. The only draw back is that it is only running Plam OS 4.1. This should hold me over until next year. That is about it my life, I have been extremely busy and haven’t had much time to put down my thoughts. Carolyn is doing great, and we are slowly doing the baby count down.

Sony launched it’s new Clie the PEG-UX50. It seems to be a really cool item. It has Bluetooth and 802.11b built in. It is running Palm 5.2 and it looks killer. It has a 480 x 320 pixel screen and a rotating base. I want one… Plus it uses the Sony Memory Stick Pro. There is a link here and here. I also like the add on battery packs for extended use. Should be a pretty killer system, I will have to check it out when it becomes available in the US. Later, B

I just returned to work after about 6 days off and it is already back to normal. I mean it is crazy and insane, but that is just the way I like it. It started with my Jornada dying this morning, I have been working all morning on trying to get it back. I may have to go get a new pda, but I don’t know what to get. I have been answering e-mails and been on conference calls and blah, blah, blah.
My parents just left this morning after visiting all week. It was really great having them here and I think they enjoyed themselves. I will post more later when I have a chance.

My life has some what returned to normal. We are finally out of the box thing and working our way into the “A Place for Everything, and Everything in its Place.”. My office is starting to feel like home now, it has all my things finally put away. I am really enjoying my new 18.1 LCD. It has a great feel to it, I am also getting used to the new resolution that it has. I was a 1600X1200 guy before, but now I am used to the 1280X1024. One reason to get everything done is that my parents arrive tomorrow from New Hampshire and I want everything to look right. I have to get back to work now. I will be posting the article “Purchasing Software for a Corporation (Part 2)” later on today, I had to make some changes due to some changes in the process at work. I am also getting back into developing my products and should have the beta versions available in the next couple of weeks.

I was checking out some stuff around the web and I came across TextAmerica Mobile Blogging. I created a new mobile photo blog for my Sanyo 8100 Picture Photo. It is pretty cool. I have a link here. I am going to play around with it for a bit and give a review later. It should be good fun though, I work in Oakland and I see alot of strange things.
