I left work today to go and work at my local Starbucks. I have to say that sometimes I need to go somewhere and work remotely. I have to get away from the familar surroundings and work alone. I have a couple of things I am working on: 1) a python script for xml configuration for my company product. It has turned to a great help. It should cut down configuration time by at least 50% at first. I will continue to add features but the basic feature set so far is great. 2) a php employee time tracker that is working really well. I should have a alpha release on Monday for my team members to try. I will probalby package it up and have it free for download so after. 3) I am leaving on Friday for a Infoworld product shootout for our product and our compeditors. That should be really interesting, it will be my first exposure to it. I mean a product shootout, our management team elected me to go. I am a little bit nervous about it but that should pass. I have to get back and finish things up. I hope that Amit and I can go see “Harlold and Kumar go to White Castle” this weekend, it looks extremely funny.

So I am sitting in a hotel room in Bloomington, Il. I am here on business and it is really interesting. I haven’t been to a place so flat landscape wise in a long time. I am really here in a middle America. I will right more later and I just have to go and grab some breakfast and head over to the customer site. I should have some very interesting pictures of the midwest suburban landscape when I get back this evening. I really need coffee.

I was just looking at my blog and I haven’t posted any pictures of my son in about 3 months. Do get me wrong I have tons of images on my moblog. I transferred some of the images over to this site now. He is just amazing. I just watch learn and grow everyday. Carolyn is just a fantastic mother also, she is just great. I am so luck to have the both of them in my life. We are very fortunate to have the life that we do. Well here are some recent images; they were taken with my Sony Clie TH55.
