Switching to T-Mobile

7100t So I just moved my company phone over to T-Mobile and I am very impressed. I went with the Blackberry 7100t. It is a pretty amazing phone. The reason for the switch is that I am currently planning on doing some traveling (for work) to Europe and I need a world phone. There are some features that made me want this phone.
#1 - quad band GSM
#2 - built-in Yahoo messaging (everyone is my company uses it)
#3 - always on e-mail (corporate)
#4 - Bluetooth
#5 - world wide SMS
#6 - USB charging and sync
Well this phone met all the criteria that sent and then some. I am going to try the service for a couple of days see what happens. Also I was able to get the phone for $150 bucks, way cheaper than a Treo.

I thought Bush was opposed to cloning

I just love stuff like this. This really sums up the way this campaign is going when it comes to advertising.

Revised thinking

SMT 5600 So, I am really impressed with the release of the news of the Treo 650 but I have an issue. Price point. I have been a user of Sprint for about 6 years now and really wish they would release a smartphone like the Audiovox SMT 5600. Sure it lacks a keyboard but for me that isn’t that big of deal but it has T9. T9 is a very interesting thing; at first I hated it but now I have gotten used to it and I love it. I have it currently with my Nokia 6225 and I really dig it. I never really type message above 128 characters. The diffence between the Treo 650 and SMT 5600 is price. Est. $650 for the Treo 650 or $199 for SMT 5600. I played around with the SMT 5600 and it was great. It was smaller than my Nokia but had an amazing amount of features. It is a PPC smartphone so it syncs with Outlook (this is a hugh feature for me and my Nokia does it fine) and it can do many of the same functions as the Treo 650 (i.e. Bluetooth, Camera phone, etc.) I would switch over to AT&T but their plans sucks compared to Sprint. It just kills me; I hope that Sprint will wake up and create a sub $300 dollar smart phone because there is a market.

Treo 650.. I want it

I am a former Treo 300 user and held off on gettng the Treo 600. It wasn’t that I did want the 600, it was that I had heard rumors about a new Treo coming out and that it would have a vast series of enhancments that I would want (i.e. High Res Screen and Bluetooth). Well it is finally here and I want it bad. The only thing that is strange is that it only has a multimeda SD slot and not a SDIO. Very strange but pretty damn close to what I want.
