Rep. Tom DeLay, all I can say is WOW!

So, here is an interesting fact coming out about the tragic Terri Schiavo case. I believe that no person would ever want to live that way. I know that I would rather be dead, not that I would know any better or maybe I would, then be trapped in my own body. Well, it seems that our little buddy Tom had to make his own choice on the matter in 1988. Tom had no problem turning off his fathers live support. There is an article here about it. Nice hypocrite.

The Great PIM Debate (well for me at least)

It is really funny that I have been using my BlackBerry 7110t for about 6 months and I still love it but… So the but is this, for email and instant messaging it is wonderful. I really love the fact that I never have to actually plug the phone in to do any sync for mail, contacts, to-do’s or memos but overall the PIM portion really sucks. So I am still carrying around my trusty Sony Clie TH-55. On the Clie I use the best PIM, in my opinion, Agendus Pro 9.02. I have never been happier, I just love all the view and the ability to get stuff done. I really wish they would put out a version for the BlackBerry. Actually one of my co-workers has a Sony 910i and it is amazing. The coolest part is that I can use Agendus and BlackBerry features on the same device. To me that is gettng closer and closer to the ‘Holy Grail” of mobility. The Sony has a pretty hefty price tag though (around $900) but I am sure I can get on eBay for $850 :) and I am would be all set or I could just get a Treo 650 and wait for the BlackBerry connect stuff they have been promising forever. Arrrgggh, I love my gadgets and I don’t think I will ever be happy.

Bansky - Urban Art ** Updated **

I found this site http://www.banksy.co.uk/menu.html on Metafilter and just thought it was really cool.

** Update **
It seems that Bansky has hung some of his own art work in couple of Museums. He has hung his art in New York’s Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and American Museum of Natural History. This guy is crazy. Below is the piece that he placed in the Brooklyn Museum.

Upgraded to WordPress 1.5

So I finally just completed my upgrade from WordPress 1.0.1 to 1.5. It had been awhile and there were a vast many improvements from when I first installed word press. There were many reasons for upgrading, so here is quick list.

  • Use of external blogging tools - I have want to use two tools specifically. wbloggar (for Windows) and Vagablog (for Palm). I really like the idea of writing to my blog externally and then posting to my site. It is great when I am on the plane and traveling. I can always count on a network connection, so I would rather write and then post. I am going to try and build a blogger tool for the BlackBerry 7100t, it will just be built in java.
  • I needed to clean up my site. I really like the look but there were many things that I wanted to change and clean up.
  • Creating my site look as a theme. I am really happy that I could create my site as a theme, so if I get bored I can create a new look with out wrecking my old. The old theme switcher never really worked right.
  • Just becuase. I really wanted to cut my chops on another PHP project, just a different change from Java

Well, I am all upgraded and I am happy. I will post more tomorrow. I have alot of testing to do.
