I am going to delay moving the site over until I get a couple of thing sorted out. First I am going to put some more RAM into the box. It currently only has 256 MB. I will boost it to 1 GB. I have some extra RAM at work. Second I just placed my order for my Tiger upgrade. I only shipped with Panther. That will arrive early next week. I will continue to play around with it this week and get more comfortable with it and then dive into it. I will do a fresh install of Tiger when it comes and then move the site and mail server onto the Mini Mac. So far it is a great box. I am very happy.

I am very excited to make the switch from Windows to Mac OSX. I have been waiting for awhile and I am proud to display my new badge. I have been using an iBook at work for testing and I love it. Now it is time for me to get in the game. I will be using it developement of something I am working on. Once I get used to it the next thing I see is a Powebook in my future. Most likely something from eBay. I will post my progress of the switch.

I awoke this Father’s Day to a great surprise. I have wanted to buy a Mac Mini for awhile but was always waiting for the right time. Well my wife was gracious enough to get me one today. The Mac Mini is going to be the replacement for the Linux box that is currentlt hosting this site. Very exicted. Now to call my Dad.

Carolyn, Liam and I were driving back from our friends son’s 1st Birthday Party in Morgan Hill and we saw a nice funnel in field by where they live. It was a nice little baby tornado. It isn’t the best picture but it was pretty cool. It only lasted for about 5 minutes and then it was gone.
