Carolyn and I are off on our why to Mexico, specifically Cabo San Lucas. The trip is only until Monday but it is better than nothing. My parents flew out here to California to take care of Liam. Carolyn and I haven’t been on a vacation together, just us, in years. It should be fun. We are going to for my cousin Katie’s wedding. I am sure I will have plenty of pictures to post when I get back. I can’t wait to get there and enjoy a nice relax afternoon by the pool.

Yesterday, Davey, Liam, Bob and I went to the Maker Faire in San Mateo. It was a blast. Liam and I had such a great time. There were so many things to see and do. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be appropriate for Liam but it turned out to be perfect for him. He was able to see all these really cool inventions and experiments. We did spend a majority of our time playing at the Bay Area Lego Groups amazing train system. Liam loves Legos and Trains, what else could he ask for. He also had a chance to hang out with one of my idols, Woz. Steve Wozniak is such a cool guy, he just sat there and played with Liam. Liam had such a great time playing with this cool green laser that he had. All in all it was another great day.

My Blog FeedBurner Style. I decided to give FeedBurner a shot with my RSS feed. I realize that I have been slacking with my blog lately and with my personal development stuff in general. It has been really hard with my work load on the increase and balancing my family life on the other. I hope to have everything under control soon and start to think of the next level of my career. I am getting close to that “burnt out” feeling and need a vacation soon.

I am so excited about this. If any of you out there in blogland have ever seen one of two things, then you would be exited to. The two things in question are the following: the BBC show Spaced or the great movie Shaun of the Dead. Well Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and company are at it again. They have a new movie coming out in 2007 called Hot Fuzz. The synopsis is as follows:
“Police Constable, Nicholas Angel is good at his job, so good in fact, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, his superiors at the Met have decided to sweep him under the carpet. So it is that London’s top cop finds himself in the sleepy West Country village of Sandford. With neighborhood watch meetings replacing the action of the city, Angel struggles to adapt to his situation and finds himself partnered with Danny Butterman, an oafish but well meaning young Constable. Just as all seems lost, a series of grisly accidents motivates Angel into action. Convinced of foul play, Angel realizes that Sandford may not be as idyllic as it seems. With his faithful new partner in tow, Angel fights to prove his instincts are correct and uncover the truth about Sandford. Is Angel simply losing his mind in the safest, sweetest village in Britain? Or is something far more sinister at work? Whatever the truth, Sandford is about to get a lot less sleepy.”
