Last night I got a chance to go up to San Francisco and hang out with Davey. It has been a while since work and my personal life has been crazy. It was really nice to see Davey, he just a fun guy to hang out with. I will probably head up his way this weekend with Liam. He also introduced me to a new BBC show called ‘Torchwood’, it is a spin off of Doctor Who (Torchwood is an anagram for Doctor Who). I only watch the first couple of minutes but it seems pretty damn cool. Something to keep me going until ‘Heros’ starts again on April 23rd. Well, it is time to go for a bike ride with Liam and then get some work done.

This past weekend Carolyn, Liam and I had a great time at The Tech Museum in San Jose. It is such a place and Liam loves it (especially new obsession with Robots). The real purpose of this post was to test posting through Flickr directly from my new VX6700 phone. I never have time actually sit down write out new posts, so this could be the answer. I really like this phone, sure it is a little bit big but the functionality more than makes up for it. The keyboard is extremely nice and responsive, the camera is really nice also. One thing that I wish Microsoft would do is fix their issues with displaying IMAP messages. When I get the entire message off the server it displays as blank. This seems to be an issue with multipart MIME messages with additional character sets or not completing segments properly. I guess I will just have to stick POP3 for now.

All I can say is this guy was a stupid moron, this is what happens when you think you are “all that”. I servers him right for trying to drive a beautiful driving machine like he was stealing Dad’s car. Though I do want to cry when I see this clip seeing how there were only 400 ever produced and now there is one less (remember Stefan Eriksson). What a schmuck

I recently purchased the U720 Modem for my MacBook for work. The main thing that was bugging me was how far it stuck out the side but since the MacBook has no express or PMCCIA slot I really have no choice. At first I velcroed the device to the back of the screen and using a USB extending cable connected it. It worked great but when the modem wasn’t there it was ugly and attracted every piece of lint. The solution was a total mistake when I found a USB extension that swivels. It allows me to swing the modem up and out of the way. It works very nicely when I am sitting at a table trying to get some work done. It really doesn’t work terribly well when it is on my lap but I don’t do that too often and when I do I am at home where I have WiFi. Alex and I had a discussion about this and I sent the picture below.
