So today was a crazy day in the world of Digg.com. Someone posted the HD-DVD processing key and all hell has broken loose. Jay Adelson the CEO of Digg posted a great response but is set off a chain of events that cause an online riot. I think that it has gotten out of control. Personally I think the users of Digg are being completely irresponsible with their actions. Digg is a company and they have provided a great service to its users at no cost. They have open the up the idea of social journalism and place into a new level. Digg.com was just protecting itself and was simply asking for some common courtesy from its users. These users are abusing the rights they were given and would not blame Digg if it disabled their accounts. The reaction of the Digg users is very childish and irresponsible. With great power comes great responsibility, these people are abusing their power.
