I just signed up to participate in the 2008 San Jose LIVESTRONG Challenge. You may already know how passionate I’ve become about cycling. More than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Three out of four families in America will be faced with caring for a family member with cancer. I need to raise at least $250 to participate in the Challenge, but my goal is to raise $5,000. It’s a big goal; one that I will need the support of friends like you to achieve. I do vow someday to go back and write a thoughtful and meaningful blog post. It has been a very long time since I have actually sat down and put some thought or perspective on the proverbial paper. I have been very busy with my family and job (that is correct order because I love my family and my job is well a very distant second). With two kids now I realize that I would love to spend more time with them than ever. I will write something down someday but I have to go to work.

AICN has this awesome picture of the Minutemen from 1940 (well, in the movie). I am so excited now to go and see the Watchmen. The detail is amazing. They have captured it. Zach Snyder (director of the 300 and Dawn of the dead ) is directing. I am so happy.. look at them: Silk Spectre, Nite Owl, Captain Metropolis, Mothman, Silhouette, Comedian, Dollar Bill and Hooded Justice. Look out March 2009.
